Why do we collect your data
- If you register for a nomos Cloud Account, we collect your email, name, and surname. This information is essential for managing your account effectively. You have the option to remove yourself from this panel, although downloading your personal data directly is not currently supported but will soon be integrated.
- When you link your nomos Cloud Account with your nomos Controller, we store this pairing information. This is necessary for integrating with services like Alexa, Google Assistant, or IFTTT.
- We store the serial number of the Controller to provide remote access to it
- Push or Email notifications are processed in our cloud services for delivery but are not stored anywhere.
- Telemetry data is stored for diagnostic purposes in case of crashes and failures, performance optimization and feature improvement.
- To enable VPN we store the serial number and the Remote IP.
How do we collect your data?
You directly provide nomos system AG with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

- Register for a nomos cloud account or link your account with nomos Controller.

How will we use your data?

- Create and manage your nomos Cloud Account

How do we store your data?
For better security, nomos mostly stores your data in your local controller and user device. Data like email, name, surname and other personal data are securely stored online.
The website uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as enquiries that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
In case of enabled push notification, AWS stores device tokens but they are all anonymised and cannot be assigned to any personal data.
